Some blogger I turned out to be. I make this big announcement saying I am going to do this...and then I just don't. LOL Well that sounds a lot like me. No really, it just goes back to not having anything to say that is worth reading. I think I have to get better at capturing moments from our day.
Yesterday was our neighborhood family fun day! We look forward to it every year. It starts with a bike parade. And this year Madelyn actually got to ride her bike with NO training wheels! She was so excited. These kids are getting so big! The parade takes us to the beach...which has been transformed into kid heaven. A bounce obsticle course, a moon walk, carnavel type games for prizes, spin and sand art, face painting, sack races, water balloon toss/water balloon fight (although this year we ended up being volunteered to fill the water balloons...all 250!!)burgers/hot dogs/brats, chips, ice cream....or yeah and the beach! It is great...once on the other side of the fence we didn't see Zach or Madelyn all day. We live in such a wonderful neighborhood! It is great to spend the day at the beach enjoying friends, enjoying the weather (which turned out beautiful since it started out so crummy!) enjoying the drinks...thank you Kevin, you never let my margarita glass empty, enjoying the music, and most of all enjoying the kids! I wish every weekend could be like this!
